As dogs get older it can be distressing to see them try and stand up after a night’s sleep, or try and climb stairs on a day-to-day basis because of arthritic or painful joints. Providing your dog with the Flexi-Joint formulation means that you can deliver the building blocks that help form part of the structure of your canine’s joint cartilage.

There are two main ingredients in Flexi-Joints; Glucosamine and Chondroitin. It is known that Glucosamine stimulates the secretion of molecules (glycosaminoglycans, also known as GAGs) which form part of the structure of cartilage. GAGs can help maintain the quality of synovial fluid which lubricates the joint itself. Chondroitin can help control enzymes that destroy cartilage. Together, Glucosamine and Chondroitin help maintain general mobility and may also decrease symptoms of canine arthritis such as joint pain thereby improving your dogs walking time, sit/stand time and ease the task of climbing steps or stairs.

We’ve also included Ester-C® which helps the body absorb Glucosamine. Our Ester-C® is a special non acidic type of vitamin C which has been formulated specifically for canine’s, to be readily absorbed and gentle on their stomach.
Glucosamine and Chondroitin may be given to your dog if:

• Wear and tear on joints has resulted in damaged cartilage
• Extra stress and strain has affected their joints as a result of hard training, competition or hard ground
